Socks with AI, will you give them a try?

Yes, AI is with everything now; even with socks!

They are called "SmartSocks" created by a company called "milbotix" that combine sensors with AI (artifical intelligence) to help monitor heath.   These innovative socks track heart rate, sweat levels, and motion, providing insight into the wearer's well-beings.  

Once the data is collected, the integration of AI enhances the functionality of smart socks by enabling more advanced data analysis, personalized insights, and maybe real-time feedbacks.  

It blew my mind when I first heard of it and found it hard to picture how it actually carries out in real life.  I did a bit more digging and here are some examples explain how they actually work and are able to help - 

1. AI helps analyze gait and foot landing patterns - these insights help runners optimize their performance and reduce the risk of injuries.

2. Applying on infants - AI monitors heart rate and oxygen levels, providing parents with rea-time health data and alerts. 

3. AI provides insights on foot health in individuals with diabetes, providing alerts for early signs of pressure ulcers and other complications. 

Sounds pretty crazy, right?    From the looks of it, you will be getting loads of benefits but at what price would you buy for this technology? 

From what I searched online - the online retail price is at $2,000 pounds with an anticipated ship date November 2024.
